Virgin Media celebrates Pride for the month of June as part of its Connections for Good campaign

Tuesday, June 22^nd 2021: As part of Virgin Media’s Connection for Good campaign to showcase Pride throughout the month of June, former international Rugby Union referee, Nigel Owen MBE, will be joining Tommy Bowe on Tomorrow’s Ireland AM at 8:15am to talk all about Pride Month, what it means to him, and the upcoming Lions Tour in South Africa.

June is Pride Month, when the world’s LGBT communities come together and celebrate the freedom to be themselves. At Virgin Media, we’ve been celebrating Pride with a number of features and interviews across a selection of our top Virgin Media Television programming throughout the month of June in the build up to ‘Pride Saturday’ this Saturday where international drag queen Courtney Act will be on Ireland AM giving viewers a fun tutorial from the kitchen on how to make rainbow ice-cream sandwiches.
