Peter O’Mahony Announced as the Newest Addition to Virgin Media Television’s Rugby Panel for Six Nations Coverage

Friday, 6 February 2026 – Virgin Media Television is delighted to announce that Irish rugby legend and long‑serving Munster captain Peter O’Mahony will join its expert rugby panel for the upcoming Guinness Six Nations Championship. He will sit alongside Conor Murray, Rob Kearney, and Andrew Trimble, offering insight and analysis throughout the tournament. Peter will make his commentary debut during the Ireland v Italy match on Saturday, 14 February at 2:10pm on Virgin Media PLAY and Virgin Media One.

As one of Irish rugby’s most respected leaders, O’Mahony has carved out an extraordinary career at the highest level. With 112 Ireland caps and over 193 appearances for Munster to his name, he has been a cornerstone of Irish rugby for more than 15 years.
